GOOD LUCK

I am not strong believer of Good luck, lucky mascot, lucky charms or good destiny. But sometimes I came across a situations wherein I am drown in deep ocean of thinking.

It was an usual Sunday & we both were alone at home & making plan for visiting Amisha's place in Ghatkopar during Navratri. All of sudden bell rang & my ironman was on the door.
"Saheb hisaab milenga?"....
No one goes empty hand from my home & I ensures at least give few extra bucks or at least biscuit's packet to my watchman, Ironman, Car-cleaner, Delivery boys or be my maid. To this ironman, I tender him note & asked him keep changes, a ten bucks.....

He politely denied & dumped Rs. 10 new coin in my hand.......I thought to give it to Dhyeya but from the day, he was born, I keep sharing all my loose changes in his Piggy Banks but now since he is grownup teenage, only big wing "Gandhi" note fascinating him.
........But what's in my hand, was a new coin from "Shree Mata Vaishnavdevi Shrine Board", a 10 rupees coin. I never seen this coin before & hence gone into thinking that It is not important whether i believe in spirituality or not, the four principles of spirituality apply to all of us from the moment one is born and will remain there till the end!
Four principles of spirituality

The First Principle states:

"Whomsoever you encounter is the right one"

This means that no one comes into our life by chance. Everyone who is around us, anyone with whom we interact, represents something, whether to teach us something or to help us improve a current situation. I don't know whether its coincidences that Shilpa was talking about Navratri & my Ironman handover "Mata Vaishnavdevi's" coin in my hand. I didn't spend that coin & inaugurated near alter in my temple.

The Second Principle states:

"Whatever happened is the only thing that could have happened"

Nothing, absolutely nothing of that which we experienced could have been any other way. Not even in the least important detail. There is no "If only I had done that differently, then it would have been different". No. What happened is the only thing that could have taken place and must have taken place for us to learn our lesson in order to move forward. Every single situation in life which we encounter is absolutely perfect.
With some people, Imagine that even after putting 100% efforts, you don't get success whereas some people don't put much efforts but they entitled with lot of success stories.

The Third Principle states:

"Each moment in which something begins is the right moment"

Everything begins at exactly the right moment, neither earlier nor later. When we are ready for it, for that something new in our life, it is there, ready to begin. So go on enjoy every moment of your life.
In your good days-don't be egotistic & in your bad days-don't be jealous. Achhe Din Aayenge...

The Fourth Principle states:

"What is over, is over"

It is that simple. When something in our life ends, it helps our evolution. That is why, enriched by the recent experience, it is better to let go and move on.

Think it is no coincidence that you're here reading this.

If these words strike a chord, it's because you meet the requirements and understand that not one single snowflake falls accidentally in the wrong place!

Be good to yourself.

Love with your whole being.

Always be happy.

Love like there's no tomorrow. And if tomorrow comes, well. Love it again, is the Simple Mantra, I LIVE in.......

Healthy mind for healthy pockets....

I came across this unusual sight where sun rays where showering their lights on selected clouds. Rain droplets where also focusing on few meters land of area as if victory lies with few selected people living being....
Today is not the right time for searching Investment opportunities when there is turbulence cyclonic effect in stock market, gold rates screwed up, property market is in deep Valley of no where returned to normalized in close days.....
If you have extra money which u can spend, take below pieces of advice which comes with an true experiences....
Bear this in mind and meditate on it:
1. ON EARNING:
Never depend on single income. Make investment to create a second chance.
2. ON SPENDING:
If you buy things you do not need, soon you will have to sell things you need.
3. ON SAVINGS:
Do not save what is left after spending, but spend what is left after saving.
4. ON TAKING RISK:
Never test the depth of a river with both feet.
5. ON INVESTMENT:
Do not put all eggs in one basket.
6. ON EXPECTATIONS:
Honesty is a very expensive gift. Do not expect it from cheap people.
7. IF YOU are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present. Past is a waste paper. Present is a newspaper and future is a question paper.
8. WHEN bad things happen in your life you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you or you can let it strengthen you.
9. EMPTY pockets teach you a million things in life but full pockets spoil you in a million ways.
10. OUR EYES are in the front because it is more important to look ahead than to look back.
11. WE USED a pencil when we were small but now we use pens... do you know why? Because mistakes in childhood can be erased but not now.
So read and write carefully otherwise life will be a tissue paper. Hope you are blessed.....

EMPTY HANDS.....

One of my office colleague faced near death experience. Coincidentally, I was with him when he collapsed in office conference room, we all 5 colleagues hold him & brought him down from 3rd floor till Ambulance.

One thing was constantly haunting in my mind...What's going on Abhijit's while I was consoling him & repeatedly telling him to take a deep breath, assuming death summoned him with severe heart-attack or cardiac arrest. He was holding my hand so tight that his nail scratch-marks made my skin pale.
Somehow we took him to Seven Hills Hospital & today he has survived from the death bed.
It's been few months now & he joined back office. Seeing him in office, he hasn't healed completely but one thing is for sure that we don't hv more time even though we all have plans as plans never get over yet.....
One day, when we will realized, we have not celebrated any moments of our life except running here & there.....
One day it’s time to go,
We will worry, oh so soon???? Our plans will never be over as we will have a lot of plans...& on the death bed, we realized God approach us with a suitcase.

Man: What do you have in that suitcase?
God: Your belongings

Man: belongings? You mean my things... Clothes... money...
God: Those things were never yours, they belong to the Earth

Man: Is it my memories?
God: No. They belong to Time

Man: Is it my talent?
God: No. They belong to Circumstance

Man: Is it my friends and family?
God: No son. They belong to the Path you travelled

Man: Is it my wife and children?
God: No. they belong to your Heart

Man: Then it must be my body
God: No No... It belongs to Dust

Man: Then surely it must be my Soul!
God: You are sadly mistaken son. Your Soul belongs to me.

Man with tears in his eyes and full of fear & with shaken hand, took the suitcase from the God's hand and opened it...

It's Empty, my friend ...

With heartbroken and tears down his cheek he asks God...

Man: I never owned anything, the time I lived in. The time I spent wid my parents, spouse & kids?
God: That’s Right. You never owned anything.

Man: Then? What was mine?
God: your MOMENTS.
Every moment you lived was yours.

Life is just a Moment.

Live it...
Love it...isn't it?

LIVE A LIFE, KING SIZE.....

Quick bite, quick thinking....

Adhikmas, a sacred month for married women fasting for long/healthy life for their husband & unmarried female fasting for better husband. Variety of fruits & deliciously made food/sweets are foodgasm for us during this month.
Apple is treated as routine fruit at home after dine. Yesterday Dhyeya was holding two slices from differently cut Apple in both the hands.
I came in and softly asked him with little slower tone with a smile: "my sweetie, could you give me one of slice from your two apples?"
He looked up at me then turned towards Shilpa for some seconds, then he suddenly took a quick bite on one slice, and then quickly on the other slice of Apple.
I felt, the smile on my face freeze. I tried hard not to reveal my disappointment.
But suddenly with another hand he handed one of his bitten apples to me, and said: "dedaaa, here you are. This is the sweeter one."

No matter who you are, how experienced you are, and how knowledgeable you think you are, always delay judgment. Give others the privileged to explain themselves. What you see may not be the reality. Never conclude for others.
I took tiny bite & make him eat whole sweet Apple.......

Time Management with Kidos

March month..... Hard target's, year closing, new projects & achieving KRAs is stretching more time in office & everyday reaching home late, is chewing  my precious family time..... but whatever quality time I salvage, I try enjoyin & preserve in my memory lane. Some of takeaway from quality time with Dhyeya are....

1 Try avoid unhappy conversations in his presence.

2 Sit respectfully around him.

3 Avoid belittle/criticize his opinions and thoughts.

4 Avoid cutting him off when he speaks.

5 Respect his age as now he is almost 13th & sometimes we share Same tee, watches etc.

6 Never do hitting or indisciplining behavior.

7 Always listen & try accepts his advice & directions.

8 At home & outside give him the power of leadership, when he is present.

9 Avoiding raising voice at him as that's a annoying situation

10 Avoid walking in front or ahead of him instead prefer walk together, shoulder-to-shoulder & share a friend like discussion.

11 Never eat before him. Try having meal with him.

12 Fill him with appreciation, even when he don't think he deserve it.

13 Avoid putting feet up in front of him or sitting with back to him.

14 Don't speak ill of him to the point where others speak ill of them too.

15 Always Keep him in prayers. On holidays or Sundays, he cleans home temple & complete prayer is conducted by him till the Prasadam distribution.

16 Even though late coming, my  facial expressions never show him seeming bored or tired in his presence rather I asked him, how he spends his whole day.

17 Never laugh at his faults/mistakes rather give solution to his problems.

18 Try to Do a task before he ask me to.

19 My Smart phone is away when he is around.

20 His friends are your friends.

21 Same questions are repeated 10 times & listen to them as if hearing for the 1st time.

22 Continuously visit him, even though TV is on, Xbox Games running, play with them &  make him win. Give a competitive feeling.

23 To choose my words very carefully when speaking with him.

24 Call him by names he like.

25 Have make him my priority above anything.

26 My time is important investment in him.

Children's are parents treasure and their most precious gift on this land. More investment of time in them, better values system in them
They must have seen the world lesser than us but they see it in a different way which we need to appreciate. We should Listen to them and try giving them as much time as we can. These moments are more precious than anything else in this world....

Eraser & Pencil

Parents are the one who standby us like an mountain & accepting all our mistakes.
We live for such moments & we die for such moments. A small attempts from us to make our children a million dollar smile is so rejuvenating to our life that we can hobbled unto rising sun, leaving our all pains & grief at back door. ... "life comes from life"....what we give, we get from our children ... Be it Christmas, birthday, Diwali, their exams, pain, sorrow or whatever occasion, we should stand by them....& shouldn't bothering investing time in their best growth. ...to make them stand, in front of the world.....
My Papa did with me & this hierarchy is bona-fide unto Dhyeya. Till today, whenever we both are crossing road together, papa ensures that he holds my hand, even though he is 76 running & so I m 40's. For him, I will always remain his small child........ few day back Papa sang a sweet lullabies which deja vu my childhood times & now same lullabies have been pass-on to my nephews infant..
Yesterday, I attended Mehul's father funeral. Looking at the burning wood, I felt like all Parents are Eraser & kids are like Pencils. ...
Pencil: I'm sorry.
Eraser: For what? You didn't do anything wrong.
Pencil: I'm sorry, you get hurt because of me. Whenever I made a mistake, you're always there to erase it. But as you make my mistakes vanish, you lose a part of yourself and get smaller and smaller each time.
Eraser: That's true, but I don't really mind. You see, I was made to do this, I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong, even though one day I know I'll be gone. I'm actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying as I hate seeing you sad.
"Our Parents are like the eraser, whereas we children are the pencil. They're always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes along the way they get hurt and become smaller (older and eventually pass on).
Take care of your Parents, treat them with kindness and most especially love them."
This will help you to reserved all your memories alive in your heart & will cherishes them by loving your children.....

Playboy

Playboy

I have been seeing him from many years in my area. Especially during Navratri time, he was a gem of a person as his garba dancing style is unique than other Gujju's. During Raas-Leela, he makes people laugh like anything as his Navratri attire is of typically Kutchh style with NATHULAL lookalike Mustaches. His looks were like a Tribals called "Rabaran" of Kutchh, Gujarat. During my jogging, I see him wandered many times on the road, riding his Hercules, like a military road shows.

Yesterday morning was unusual for me as Renovation work is going on at my place & hence I wake-up at 4am in early morning, change of place had made me awake. Being Sunday, it's holiday for Workout so I planned to go for Power Yoga at Gorai Creek. While returning, I got glimpse of this guy from my rear mirror. Coincidentally, he also halt at Carrot Juicewallah & order 2 glass of Awla-Carrot Juice for himself. I choose to keep mum as I like to observe all his movements & on a blinks of seconds, he jumped towards my bike. Before I utter a single word, he sat on my bike & asked me to permit him a free ride. I was amazed & shocked on next seen as he accidentally fell on the road with my bike upon him like Yoga Mode "Shatsang Darshan". No one came to his rescue except me. With one more shocked to me, he got-up started laughing & apologize me if any damages to my bike. I saw his gratitude for all my help & sorry for my bike's minor scratches ...he took his bicycle & started marching towards other side of road....luckily he didn't got any injuries.

Above incidents would not be normal to me if he would not be 85+ years old man, grandfather of 5 kids. But looking at his aggressive nature, smilingly face, positive energetic behavior, it gave me a learning lesson of life comes from life....

Salute to this old playboy....
